I have lived in Geauga County my entire life and have over 30 years experience working with children. I have a bachelors degree in early childhood development from Kent State. I have been an in home child care provider, preschool teacher, administrator, substitute teacher and most importantly, a mom. I am married to my wonderful husband, Michael, and we have 3 beautiful children; Mekaylie, Nathon, and Maliah. In my free time I enjoy shopping, cooking, fitness, family, organization and creativity!
I am a 2018 graduate from Berkshire High School, and I am currently enrolled at The University of Cincinnati to receive my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been working with children since I was about 13, and couldn’t imagine doing anything else! My love and passion for teaching grows every single day. I feel so fortunate to have been able to begin my career alongside my mom, who is my biggest role model/mentor. I love the excitement and energy that comes with working with preschoolers. Seeing their smiling faces, exchanging laughs and big hugs, and watching them learn and grow everyday brings so much warmth to my heart. Outside of teaching, I do a lot of babysitting and housesitting for several local families. I also enjoy shopping, hiking, crafting, spending time with my boyfriend, John, and being around all of my family and friends.
