This session is a 4 hour per week Mon/Wed afternoon option open to children who are over the age of 2′ 1/2 by September 1st. Potty training children who use a pull-up are welcome.

Greeting music/dancing, morning check-in jobs themed activities

Afternoon work, small motor rotating tabletop activities

Morning carpet time, sharing, announcements, Pledge of Allegiance, calendar, the days of the week, date, weather, and songs/fingerplays

Intro to theme, Fundations letters, sight words, numbers, shapes, other preschool skills repeated daily

Bathroom break, handwashing, prepare for snack or lunch

Snack or lunch, story time, table manners, communication skills, post-meal clean-up jobs
1:00 pm - 1:20 pm

Puzzles, games, handwriting skills (daily), center activities, exploring concepts, art, science (activities vary by day)
1:20 pm - 1:40 pm

Large motor room structured movement, free exploration and music and movement time. Outdoor play if possible
1:40 pm - 2:00 pm

Bathroom break, handwashing, supervised free play, dramatic play, social interaction skills, sensory play
2:00 pm - 2:20 pm

Clean-up, ending carpet meeting, Get ready for dismissal
